FY11 Goals

At the annual SWE-BWS retreat, held the weekend of 20-22 August in Annapolis, MD, the executive council established a list of goals to guide our yearly activities and programs for the FY11 fiscal year.  The goals established were:

1.     Establish relationships with all active BWS collegiate sections.

2.     Continue to serve all geographical areas of the section.  

3.     Reach out to 1000 girls with K-12 Outreach.

4.     Define and collect metrics for K-12 Outreach.

5.     Hold K-12 Outreach event with at least one Title I school.

6.     Involve at least six companies in SWE-BWS events.

7.     Involve 200 unique members/people in section activities.

8.     Net section membership growth of 15%.

9.     Identify and develop a succession plan and leadership pipeline.
