Topic: Creating Drinking Water from Sea Water: The ABCs of Desalination
 
 
Speaker Bio: Colleen M. Layman – Bechtel Power Corporation
Ms. Layman is currently the Manager of Water Treatment for Bechtel Power Corporation.  She is responsible for the conceptual design, process engineering, startup and operational support of the water/wastewater treatment systems and the steam/water chemistry issues for Bechtel projects world-wide. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, an MS in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering, and a MBA in Management of Engineering and Technology and a registered Professional Engineer.
