VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED!

SWE will help Junior and Teen level Girl Scouts earn the Making It Matter engineering badge by performing six hands-on, fun experiments to teach basic engineering concepts. The purpose of the program is to introduce and encourage young girls and women to pursue careers in engineering. Activities include civil, mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering.  All supplies and a light lunch will be provided.  A ceremony will be held at the end of the program where each girl will receive their badges.

Volunteers are necessary to make this program a success.  Volunteers will run events with the girls, help set up and clean up.

Shifts for Volunteers are:

-->12:30 - 4:30 pm

The event begins at 1 pm, but volunteers will help setup prior to the beginning and also at the end to clean up.

Please plan to attend this fun and rewarding event!
